Pichai has been saying “A.I. is one of the most important things to humanity” for more than 5 years now, he has also spoken extensively about the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the tech industry and improve people’s lives. In an interview with Wired in 2016, he stated that “AI is one of the most important things that humanity is working on. It is more profound than, I dunno, electricity or fire.”
Pichai believes that AI has the potential to revolutionize many areas of society, from healthcare and transportation to education and entertainment. He has also acknowledged the potential risks associated with AI, such as job displacement and algorithmic bias, and has called for responsible development and deployment of AI technologies.

In last week’s interview with CBS Pichai told Pelly(the interviewer) “We need to adapt as a society for it” stating the disruption in jobs in the coming years. He added, “This is going to impact every product across every company”.
